About the band.

The Barons are one of the tri-state’s hottest tribute groups, offering an energetic, faithful rendition of the Motown and R&B hits from the 1960's. With over 45 years of performing experience, The Barons are known for multiple 60's hits of their own, such as “Pledge of A Fool” and “Remember Rita” on Epic Records, as well as “Possibility” (recorded on Old Town Records under the name of The Crowns.) The band consists of three male singers and one female singer for lush four-part harmonies, supported by a five-piece rhythm section of dedicated musicians for a full, dynamic listening experience. The vocals have also recorded demos, for Stan Vincent and JJ Jackson and Jingles and voice overs such as Coca-Cola, Porsche 914, Coast Soap, Charms Lollipops, & Channel 9 Television for Weinberg Productions just to name a few.

The Barons have shared the stage with such groups as:
Brenda Lee / The Passions / The Classics / Tommy Mara and The Crests / The Mystics / The Harptones / The Tokens / The Regents / Charlie Thomas & The Drifters / The Shangri-las / Lloyd Price / Eugene Pitt & The Jive Five / The Del-Vikings / The Teenagers / The Tymes
Earl Lewis & The Channels / Randy & The Rainbows / Johnny & Joe / The Dimensions / The Chantels / The Orlons / Herb Cox & The Cleftones

In addition to sharing the bill with many great acts, The Barons have also had the pleasure of backing up, with vocals and music, such greats as Johnny Tillotson, Jimmy Clanton, and Linda Jansen of the Angels, some in venues as prestigious as Hanover Theater in Massachusetts. For your next event - be it a party, dance or a Motown showcase - let The Barons be the ones to take you back in time.
